The project aims to create a system of resonating sound sources which produce low frequency gradient fields, allowing for a tactile experience of sound. This gradient is the primary design concern; the geometry of spacial boundaries is a resultant of the desired gradient field.
Calculations were carried out to determine resonant properties of obtained materials (steel, copper, and PVC pipes). A prototype of one component in a potential network was constructed and conencted to a sound source comprised of an amplifier and subwoofer.
