bootcamp @UIC instructor: Grant Gibson + McLain Clutter

Bootcamp is exactly what is sounds like - a gruelling preparatory two-week studio that intends to 'prime' incoming students for the academic year by exposing them to architectural design principles and techniques, while testing their ability to advance concepts and produce quality work on tight deadlines. The final model resulted from a series of abstractions of a painting by Zaha Hadid through physical modelmaking, orthographic and axonometric drawings done both by hand and on the computer.
